Adam Mitchel Lambert was born January 29, 1982 to mother Leila Mitchel, an interior designer, and father Eber Lambert, a program manager, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Shortly after his birth, Lambert’s father moved the family for a job opportunity in San Diego, California, which is where Adam grew up. Adam was the season 8 Runner Up on American Idol, losing the final round to Kris Allen.
