But before she heads back to South Carolina, she took a few minutes to chat with Fox All Access producer Jeff Axelrod about her experience, her future, and her fans. The Top 5 “American Idol” finalists will perform next Wednesday night at 8/7c on Fox.

As big an injustice as when Haley Reinhart was sent home last year. Young Americans obviously do not know talent.

No regrets girl! You nailed that Hendrix song. On that a minute and a half bold as love, you showcased your vocal range and tricks that nobody on this season can do. That sets you apart. I love you Elise, I hope all your dreams come true.

It is the beginning of something better… Definitely not the end for this lady…
As upset as I am about Elise no longer being on Idol, I’m going to hold on to the last thing she says in this interview. I know that she’s right about this not being the end of anything, because there’s never been any doubt in my mind that she’d be successful and produce quality music no matter wht happend on the show. I’m excited to see what’s next for Elise, and I can’t wait to see her on tour and for the day when I know that I can buy her debut album.
Shoulda’ sang something by Heart instead of the Hendrix song, but that’s just me. Fantastic and very gifted singer for sure! Wish her nothing bu the best!
